Protect your dog from the sun! The Canine Kool Coat is made from the same Oasis fabric used in the turnouts for horses. The Oasis fabric is a 100% polyester mesh that offers superior durability while at the same being soft, breathable, and coat friendly. This extremely reflective fabric that offers UV-protection (blocking both UVA and UVB radiation). It will help keep your dog cool even when the coat is dry!

For additional cooling, submerge the cooling coat in cool water prior to use. If it dries out, refresh it with just a spray of water. Unlike other fabrics used for cool coats, Oasis does not become oversaturated and heavy. If needed, a fan blowing over the coat increases the cooling power dramatically. However, please monitor your dog as he/she could actually become too cool. Easy to use and maintain. 

Cool coats feature front buckle closure, adjustable/removable belly band, and contouring pleats to ensure a great fit.

Color is white with a colored trim. Trim available in assorted colors; please let us choose for your dog.

How do I measure my dog for his new dog coat?

Using a soft tape measure, place the tape at the base of the dog’s neck. This is the spot where the neck curves and becomes the back. Run the tape from the base, along the spine to the base of the dog’s tail (where the tail starts on the body). If the number falls in between sizes, purchase the next size up. (Example: if your dog measures 19", please order a size 20" coat.)

If your purchased garment does not fit properly, we will exchange it for another size provided that it has not been worn, soiled, washed or damaged.
