The Cool Bed III cools and cushions with a waveless waterbed for your dog. Perfect for dogs of all ages. Recommended for canine athletes, sporting dogs, senior pets and dogs that are heat sensitive. Great for outdoor use or traveling, because no electricity is needed. Made of non-toxic materials.

It is designed to radiate heat back into the air or into the surface below to keep your dog cool. The water-saturated core absorbs the dog’s natural body temperature of 102°F and converts it to the air temperature, which is normally well below the dog’s body temperature. Even if it’s 85°F outside, the Cool Bed III will still be 17° cooler than your dog’s core temperature.

Use the Cool Bed III in a cool or shady location to maximize its heat-wicking abilities. If it’s extremely hot, replace the water in the bed with cold water and ice cubes. This will provide increased heat-wicking, because it will take time for the water in the bed to warm up to air temperature.

Directions:
Simply add the suggested amount of water through the easy-fill cap and release air bubbles (burp) with the air-adjustment valve. The nylon/vinyl exterior is much tougher than other cool bed products, but it is important that the Cool Bed III is placed on a smooth surface that will not puncture or cause abrasions. 2-year limited warranty.

Cleaning: The surface of the bed can be cleaned with a damp towel/sponge and mild dishwashing detergent. Do not wash in a washing machine.
