Dog Brick

Skill Level: Intermediate
Dog Brick requires a dog to first dislodge the removable bones, then to push the sliding covers and access hidden treats. The level of difficulty for the Brick can be varied, depending upon the dog’s experience and his enthusiasm for the game.
Nina Ottoson offers a range of durable interactive games to stimulate a dog’s brain and reinforcing his relationship with people.
Each design has a unique mechanism that requires mental as well as physical dexterity to work through the challenges and reveal hidden food rewards. They can be set to differing levels of complexity, to satisfy all ages and breeds of dog.
Whether you have a ‘Forrest Gump’ or an ‘Albert Einstein’, there is a Nina Ottosson game design to suit every dog!

Tips:
1.) It may help to have the dog on a leash when introducing the Interactive Dog Games, to encourage controlled play.
2.) Keep play sessions short and fun, always trying to end on a positive, successful note.
3.) Rather than using lots of extra treats, encourage the dog to ‘learn to earn’ by giving part of his daily ration of food in the Interactive Dog Game.
4.) To encourage your dog just to use his nose – try placing the toy on a higher surface like a chair, this is also good if your dog is recovering from an injury.
5.) If the dog has already been taught ‘Target Training’, then it is possible to teach him to dislodge the bones by either his nose or paw on command. Smart dogs can even switch between the two.
Have fun!
